﻿Our Recommendation: There are two main options for guests who would like transportation to the wedding venue. Option one: Moulin de Vernègues. The Moulin de Vernègues hotel is close to the venue (15 minutes) and we will be organizing transportation for the wedding day. This hotel is not located in a town center but it does have amenities like a pool, spa, and restaurant. Option two: Hotel or Airbnb in Saint‑Rémy‑de‑Provence. If you prefer to stay in the heart of a Provençal town, our recommendation would be to stay in Saint‑Rémy‑de‑Provence (30 minutes away from the venue), as we will also have a shuttle from the town to the wedding. The Saint‑Rémy‑de‑Provence shuttle will accommodate anyone staying in airbnbs or hotels in the town. Alternatively, you could stay in the nearby town of Salon-de-Provence (10 minutes from the venue) or Les Baux-de-Provence (~30 minutes from the venue). There are many great hotel and AirBnB options. We have listed a couple below. Please note we will not be able to provide transportation from these locations. There are car services and ubers that you or your hotel can coordinate to get to the wedding venue. In the case you rent a car and drive, there will be ample parking at the venue.

Moulin De Vernègues

This is the other main hotel for our wedding weekend, located in Saint-Remy-de-Provence. It is located about 30 minutes from the wedding venue. We will have transportation from this hotel to the venue (people staying at other hotels/airbnbs in Saint‑Rémy‑de‑Provence will also be able to take the shuttle).

Le Vallon de Valrugues Hotel Spa & Villas

Located in Saint-Remy-de-Provence, this hotel is about 30 minutes from the venue. Guests staying here can use the shuttle we’re organizing from the town of Saint‑Rémy‑de‑Provence to the wedding venue.

Le Saint-Rémy

Located in Les Baux-de-Provence, Baumanière is 30 minutes from the wedding venue. Transportation to the venue must be arranged individually—either through the hotel’s concierge or by booking a rideshare (Uber/taxi).

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO PROVENCE?

The easiest way to get to Provence is by flying to Marseille (Marseille Provence Airport). You can find flights departing from major US airports with one stop in a European hub (London, Madrid, Paris, etc) with the final destination of Marseille. Once you land in Marseille, you will be able to get a taxi to your accommodation. Alternatively, if you fly into Paris, you can take a high speed train to Avignon or Aix-en-Provence, where you will be able to get an uber/taxi or pick up a rental car depending on your plans. Please note that if you plan to fly to Paris and take the train, you should leave ample time between your flight's arrival and the departure of the train-- getting from the Paris airport (located outside the city) to the train station (in the city center) will take at least forty minutes to an hour, and potentially longer depending on traffic. WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WEEKEND?

For the welcome party on Friday evening, men should wear a jacket, no tie and women should dress in cocktail attire. For the wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday, the dress code is black tie; tuxedos for men and long dresses for women. Nota bene: The wedding venue includes grassy areas. For comfort and ease, we suggest avoiding stiletto heels on Saturday.

For transport to and from the welcome party, we will have 3 shuttles: SHUTTLE 1 : For guests staying at Moulin de Vernègues--&gt; Pick up at front of hotel at 6:45pm SHUTTLE 2: For guests staying in Saint- Rémy de Provence--&gt; First pick up location: Center of Saint Remy town* at 6:40pm--&gt; Second pick up location: Hotel Vallon de Valrugues at 6:45pm SHUTTLE 3: For guests staying in Salon de Provence--&gt; Pick up location: Center of Salon de Provence town* at 7:10pm *** Shuttle 1, 2, and 3 will depart the welcome party at 10:45pm to drop guests at their accommodation.
